Hasegawa 7455 Kawanishi N1K2-J Shidenkai "301st Fighter Squadron"(Kaneyoshi Mutoh)

The N1K2-J Shiden Kai was introduced in January 1945, so it didn´t manage to see much time on the from. Nevertheless, during the little time in managed to fly, managed to impose itself to the Allied aircraft.

The most famous squadron that used the Shiden Kai in combat was the 343rd Naval Flying Group, which managed to shoot down 52 American aircraft on March 19th 1945.
